The sculpture is the representation of the artist’s double portrait during the Covid-19 pantemic on which the Online communication intervention was made.
Through the use of Instagram Social Network, the artist invites the public to interact with her, communicating words that will then be imprinted on the bust of the work using mobile characters.
The sculpture show a double face as if to show the double personality, the multiple, the mask of society. The work is an attempt to represent an historical moment, the Covid-19 pandemic: the anxiety of being in contact with others. The bust on the one hand wants to represent the naked essence of the artist, with the other face the artist’s interaction with society which requires the use of both a physical and metaphorical mask.
La scultura è la rappresentazione del doppio ritratto dell’artista durante la pandemia da covid-19 su cui è stato fatto l’ intervento di comunicazione Online.
Attraverso l’ uso del Social Network Instagram l’artista invita il pubblico a interagire con lei, comunicandole parole che poi verranno impresse sul busto dell’opera tramite caratteri mobili.
La scultura mostra un doppio volto, come a mostrare l’altra faccia, la doppia personalità, il multiplo, la maschera della società. L’opera tenta di rappresentare un momento storico, l’ansia dello stare a contatto con gli altri. Il busto bifronte da un lato vuole rappresentare l’essenza nuda dell’artista, dall’altra l’interazione dell’artista con la società che presuppone l’uso di una maschera sia fisica che metaforica.
