MONTE NAPOLEONE ART & DESIGN

Il progetto #HinoUniversalBeauty nasce dalla volontà del brand HINO NATURAL SKINCARE di creare un punto di incontro inclusivo, tra l’arte e le donne. La location suggestiva di via MonteNapoleone a Milano, ospita tra il 10 e il 23 Maggio 2021 quattro opere dell’artista romagnola Vera Berardi, in arte Vera Vera (@VeraVera_Artist).

L’opera principale è una Venere di ispirazione botticelliana, facente parte della serie #TellMeWords e risultato di una doppia operazione: da un lato, quella scultorea realizzata in atelier; dall’altra una collaborazione tra l’artista e il brand HINO NATURAL SKINCARE che ha scelto di inserire la parola “bellezza” in diverse lingue imprimendola sulla pelle della scultura. L’opera finita diventa così indagine critica sulla relazione tra ciò che mostriamo e ciò che siamo, sulle false maschere che indossiamo davanti alla società che ci vede. Un punto di incontro tra il brand e l’artista, entrambi attenti a dare valore alla bellezza interiore ed esteriore, alla pelle e alla sfera personale come all’ambiente in cui viviamo e all’ecologia.

Tre capi appesi rappresentano volti di donna, ognuno realizzato con tonalità che possano ricordare i differenti colori dell’incarnato femminile, suggerendo inclusione delle differenze che all’interno della teca suonano all’unisono. I volti fluttuano nell’aria, girando lentamente su se stessi e mostrando la foglia d’oro che ricopre la parte interna delle maschere. Il materiale aureo simboleggia la preziosità che si cela dietro ciò che nasconde e inganna, il valore intrinseco della bellezza interiore, molto spesso dimenticata. Allo stesso tempo rimanda ad una visione trascendentale, dove la vera bellezza si rivela, mostrando la verità che si nasconde e cela dietro le nostre maschere.

The #HinoUniversalBeauty project stems from the desire of the HINO NATURAL SKINCARE brand to create an inclusive meeting point between art and women. The evocative location of via MonteNapoleone in Milan hosts four works by the Romagna artist Vera Berardi, aka Vera Vera (@VeraVera_Artist) between 10 and 23 May 2021.

The main work is a Venus of Botticellian inspiration, part of the #TellMeWords series and the result of a double operation: on the one hand, the sculptural one created in the atelier; on the other hand, a collaboration between the artist and the HINO NATURAL SKINCARE brand which has chosen to insert the word “beauty” in different languages ​​by imprinting it on the skin of the sculpture. The finished work thus becomes a critical investigation into the relationship between what we show and what we are, on the false masks we wear in front of the society that sees us. A meeting point between the brand and the artist, both careful to give value to inner and outer beauty, to the skin and to the personal sphere as well as to the environment in which we live and to ecology.

Three hanging garments represent women’s faces, each made with shades that can recall the different colors of the female complexion, suggesting the inclusion of the differences that play in unison inside the case. The faces float in the air, slowly turning on themselves and showing the gold leaf that covers the inside of the masks. The golden material symbolizes the preciousness that lies behind what it hides and deceives, the intrinsic value of inner beauty, very often forgotten. At the same time it refers to a transcendental vision, where true beauty is revealed, showing the truth that hides and conceals behind our masks.
